Do I really need ANOTHER web site?

Picture 3 As I said in a recent post about business cards, I am a woman with an identity crisis. At least when it comes to my business card, and maybe to my identity on the web.

At any given time I can be found on at least three web sites - SundinInc.com, ManicMommies.com and here at RealSimple.com. I can also be found on LinkedIn; Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Facebook (not that I'm sure I want everyone finding me there).

Have you ever tried putting that many URLs on a business card? It cannot be done.

So, I've considered purchasing my own URL and creating another site which captures everything I do, but really, who has time for that? What I really need is a site that lets me link to all of the other sites.

Enter, Flavors.me.

Picture 4 Using Flavors.me, I was able to set up a free web site where I could include some basic information about myself, customize the design using the same photo from my business card, and link to all of the services I utilize (there were also many other services I could have added including Netflix; Etsy; tumblr and Blogger). The only think I couldn't do was easily include links to sites that didn't use RSS or another log-in mechanism (with a couple of simple html codes I was able to add links to my description).

I chose to upgrade my account for $20 per year which will allow me to use a domain (sold separately) rather than the flavors.me address, and includes a contact form and web traffic information. Now, all I have to do is figure out my URL (decisions, decisions).

For those of us maintaining multiple identities online, Flavors.me is a simple, inexpensive solution for wrangling them all into one place.

Do you have too many URLs?
